Garlick

Born and raised in Taos, NM (1988), Aaron Garlick was immersed in a world of art and creativity from an early age. "Drawing has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember," he reminisces. With an artistically accomplished mother and grandmother, Aaron's artistic journey began against a backdrop of familial talent. In his late teens, he gained recognition for his portraiture, clinching several awards. "Observing my mother and her artist friends pursue their passion was inspiring, but it wasn't until I sold those award-winning pieces that I truly believed in my own potential," he reflects.

Aaron's artistic expression is a quest to capture the essence of his subjects. Informed by classical techniques while embracing contemporary perspectives, his work is a dynamic blend of tradition and innovation.
