Drew Macias

Drew Macias was born, raised, and lives with his family in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Growing up, he was taught to follow his dreams, use his imagination, and most importantly, get outside and play. Outside, drew would hone the athletic skills that would later take him all the way to the Major Leagues where he’d play for the San Diego Padres. After hurting his elbow, he followed another childhood dream of acting. Although this path would ultimately not be right for him, he gained valuable skills that would later show up in his art.

Known for his exaggerated plumes of smoke that take on a personality of their own, Drew enjoys capturing the hard times of the West on the faces who lived through it. With wide, raw brush strokes and a classic Western look, he pours the lessons he has learned in life into his work. Whether it’s the hard work and dedication he learned from baseball.
